From West and Northwest:
Route 46 East to Route 3 East; exit Route 3 at Bloomfield Avenue (Clifton/Nutley).  Pass back under Route 3 and go straight a short distance to traffic circle. Go 3/4 around circle onto Allwood Road.  Straight to first traffic light; right turn (almost a U-turn) onto Market Street, then a left onto Lyall Road (between a bank and a movie theater).  Library is on the right approximately 500 feet.

From East and Northeast:
 Take Route 46 West past Clifton commercial district (three traffic lights) to Broad Street Clifton exit, the exit immediately after the exit to the Garden State Parkway South.  Stay on Broad Street through two traffic lights.  At the third light, make a left onto Allwood Road.  Follow Allwood Road to the fourth traffic light; at this light, make a half-left onto Market Street, then a left onto Lyall road (between a bank and a movie theater).  Library is on the right approximately 500 feet.
