Traveling North on 287:
Get off at Exit 53 (Bloomingdale-Pompton Lakes) At end of ramp-make a right at light onto Hamburg Turnpike.  Continue for about ½ mile on Turnpike, through 2 more lights and bear left at the monument triangle onto Wanaque Avenue in Pompton Lakes.You will see the library two short blocks ahead on your right, a big Tudor style building with a large sign (Red & White Community Bulletin Board) on the corner.

From South and West:
On Route 23 in Riverdale, bear right onto Newark-Pompton Turnpike north (511).  Pass New Jersey Armory on your right & proceed to end of road (traffic light).  Make right turn onto Hamburg Turnpike, continue for about ¼ mile on Turnpike, through one traffic light and bear left at the monument triangle onto Wanaque Avenue in Pompton Lakes.  You will see the library two short blocks ahead on your right a big Tudor style building with a large sign on the corner.  Turn right at sign onto Pompton Avenue.  Make a quick left into library parking lot.

From Northwest:
On Route 23 at Riverdale, proceed south first to make U-turn at the Boulevard(just before 1st traffic light).  Make left turn onto 23 North and proceed as above.  Follow directions for south & west.

From Northeast:
South on U.S. 202 in Wayne to Pompton Lakes (on your right) falls and dam.  Make a right at traffic light onto Hamburg Turnpike.  Continue straight ahead about ½ mile, (over Ramapo River and through one traffic light) and you will enter Wanaque Avenue at the monument triangle.  Follow directions for south & west.

From Southeast:
The Hamburg Turnpike runs straight from Paterson through Wayne Township right into Pompton Lakes, a distance of about 8 miles.  Proceed as above when you see (Welcome to Pompton Lakes) sign at the Pompton Falls and Dam.
